You may know me from my previous work in child labor studies at a small liberal arts college in Pennsylvania between 2008 and 2009. Oh you don’t? Well anyway, let’s pretend it’s “Setback Saturday” and check out my undergraduate honors thesis exploring the relationship between income and child labor incidence to determine whether or not boycotts are an effective method of mitigating child labor abroad. (spoiler alert: it depends)

Although this paper was awarded the title of Best Economics Honors Thesis that year, I have a feeling I’ll be looking at this in 9 months when my program is complete and shaking my head at my former methods.
